I’m back to figure out if I can in some way constructively re-introduce this into my life. I’ve been meeting with another faculty member instead of my adviser, and it is all very weird. I replaced the OS on my laptop, so I don’t have MATLAB at the moment, but I will try to make some photo manipulations by other means. We’ll see…
NOW THAT I AM ACTUALLY STARTING TO MEET MY MASTERS ADVISOR AND AM ON TRIAL UNTIL THE END OF THE SEMESTER TO DETERMINE WHETHER MY PROJECT IS FEASIBLE, I SHOULD HAVE NO ACTIVITY ON HERE UNTIL AT LEAST EARLY DECEMBER. GOOD BYE FOR NOW.
do you ever cook something in the microwave but it’s still really cold in the middle and you just keep eating it instead of heating it longer because life is pointless and entropy is unavoidable and the universe is filled with callous and casual destruction
I am doing this right now. Friggin spaghetti. Friggin universe.
it’s fun to demo with a leapmotion!
You demoed with Leap Motion? I am Jack’s forlorn envy.
Really? You need a fucking week?
You’re right, congratulations on being a decent human being that understands people aren’t cookie cutter, good for you!
But you think you need a week to be recognized?
Cishet people are recognized EVERYDAY
Have your basic human rights…
Holy crap, I am so happy this is the first time I’m even hearing of ally week after on several instances hearing about asexuality awareness week and coming out day and fisting day.
This is coming from someone who’s in a mess of straight asexual queer aromantic questioning pansexual uncertainty: ally week is redonk. Here’s a nice write-up on why by Caitlin Donovan at UNCA from a little while back: http://thebluebanner.net/ally-week-fails-to-include-support-all/
I just remembered that when explaining the initials a few days ago, I was like, “and A is for Asexual. Actually, I think it stands for something else too… um… oh, right, ally.”
In the first of create@cooper’s ‘creator stories’ Alexis Ohanian (co-founder of Reddit) visits The Cooper Union on the first stop of a national book tour for his new book Without Their Permission. Alexis will be talking about his journey as an entrepreneur and how the internet is “the most powerful and democratic tool for disseminating information in human history.”
The co-founder of Reddit spoke at my school and it was awesome and motivating and I just need this on my blog, okay?
I was there so I will do that too. A keepsake for after I create the robot overlords.
omg you guys this is so awkward my crush saw my tweet about them
